Please post a reply saying your answer. :) We won't burn you for not having one...

I own a Famicom, and a Disk System. Still hoping to find an AV Famicom or a Twin.

Yep I do -- CIB. But I'm thinking of selling it since I can't get it to work on my stupid TV. I figure I can play all my Famicom games on my NES.

I only own clones & quite a few NESs. Most are in the loft though since I moved house, just got a few portables around if I need them.

Had a clone, but controller 1 port doesn't even work and the controller is proprietary.

I own a HVC-001.  I am trying to save enough money to buy the Disk System as well.  I also ordered a batch of twenty-five carts.
I can't wait untill they arive!

So a lot of you actually play your old systems? I keep mine in the box and emulate. Stuff thats nearing 25 years old, in my opinion, isn't going to last long and I want to make sure it stays in good condition. Opinions?

I don't  have a famicom system.  I usually play my famicom games on my SNES with a Super 8 adapter.  I also have tons of famicom to NES converters for when I use my top loader NES system.

Yup... and trying to MOD:

- AV (gaaaaaah)
- removing the controllers (i will put DB9 jacks instead)
- putting a LED next to the power button
if everything fails, use fire...

My Atari 2600 is 30 years old.  It still works and looks just like it is new.  My Atari 5200, NES, FamiCom, GameBoy, Atari Super Pong, and any other near 20 year old system that I may have forgotten, all work.  Heck all of my systems work.

See List below:

Do not be afraid to play your systems,  most first party systems are built for life.  (Save the PS2, it's rubbish.)  Emulation is never perfect, pure hardware it the only way to fly.
