hey im in the uk and i just picked up a nice super clean famicom at a bootfair spent a long time
Tuning it in to my tv luckly it was 50/60htz LG lcd i can get a very acceptable
Picture. sadly the sound is in the background behind alot of interfearance :(

Open controller II, clean slider with sand eraser and traces for slider on PCB with alcohol.
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

You can try to get yourself an FM radio and touch antennae with the video cable like in this article http://famicomworld.com/workshop/articles/famicom-fm/ and see if you can get good sound. If you do you can use a splitter or something and use the TV for picture and the radio for sound.
