Famicom World

Review

This Conflict sample cartridge, by Vic Tokai, is an unusual one, because of the label, which is a printed piece of paper that’s been taped onto the cart.

It also has a version number on the label — 2.3 — which suggests there are other versions. Depending on how high the version numbers go, this could either be an early version or a late version. If FW had to guess, we’d say it’s a late version, nearing the final version. It seems like during this time, most carts were labeled either version 0, 1 or 2, with the decimal and tenth added as they got closer to the final version.

The only screenshot FW has of the game doesn’t suggest any differences from the retail release.
