Been thinking about this for a while and I could only think of one.
Basically, any Arcade port that on the Arcade system ran infinity (loops, gets harder ie Spartan X, Donkey Kong)
The only one I know on arcade that loops on arcade is Green Beret/Rush & Attack...but on FDS/NES.. IIRC from when I last played it, it has a completion screen.
If the game has changed slightly, no big deal..as in my example...
I enjoy score attacks when I'm in the mood, but, a completion screen is always ;D
:)
I know Gyruss and Bump n Jump on the NES have endings. I know the former wasn't technically on the Famicom but still. ;)
I wanna say Rygar, but Rygar arcade actually ends-- I think.
The arcade version of Section-Z has an uneventful ending then loops. The Famicom/NES has an ending, a brief credits screen, and ends?
The arcade Gauntlet never ends (unless it has a kill screen), but the NES does. (was it even released for Famicom?)
The ports of Bionic Commando/Top Secret are completely different games from their arcade counterparts, then again... so are all of these.
I'd say Bionic Commando/Top Secret is more like a sequel to the arcade game than a port.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
In the arcade game, aren't you supposedly playing as Super Joe? ???
Yeah I think so, the one you are rescuing the the Famicom game.
