Title: Hiryuu no Ken boxed set...anyone know about this thing?
Post by: fcgamer on January 19, 2017, 03:36:11 am
I just wrote a short piece about a Hiryuu no Ken bundle I recently discovered and picked up.  You can see pics and read the article here, if you like:

Has anyone seen one of these before?  Any idea of the value or rarity of something like this?  Also, does anyone know if any other bundles of a similar nature were released?  To me, this is a really neat find, combining a Famicom game with a later game in the series.

That's pretty awesome FCGamer. I always found it interesting that this just so happens to be one of the most common Famicom games to find unopened, if not the most uncommon.

Think a similar bundle exists for Super Chinese 2 and 3? Since they're also quite common to find unopened, and being the same company and all.

But 発売 (hatsubai) is more commonly used when starting selling something no? Not closing down sales I think.

What about Ultra Baseball? That game also has a ton of new copies. Looks like Culture Brain was way too optimistic...
