Title: Does anyone have a boxed Solstice Famicom version (for cover scan)
Post by: Sumez on February 16, 2018, 04:41:34 am
Hey there :)

For some reason there doesn't seem to be any good versions of the amazing Japanese box art for Solstice available online.
I need a good version for an article I'm writing, so I was wondering if anyone around here has a copy and the means to scan/photograph a relatively high quality version of the box art?

You'll be doing the internet a big favor :D
Thanks in advance

I did actually think of that issue, but thought I worded it the best I could :P I'll try readjusting it...

Don't have a scan, but I own the game CIB somewhere.

Maybe this helps in the meantime?

Wow, I'm impressed with even the existance of that! Although it's obviously not the actual box :\
If you get the time any day to scan your game box, please let me know :)

It is honestly a great game. The western artwork is not nearly as stylish, but IMO it's probably Software Creation's best game. It takes a lot of patience to get into, but it plays well (especially for an isometric action/puzzle game) and the exploration aspect is very atmospheric.
