Title: [SOLVED] Help me find: Specific NES-to-FC cartridge adapter
Post by: M-Tee on December 23, 2022, 06:38:24 pm
I seem to recall a specific cartridge adapter being sold a while back, and I can't find any trace of it online.

What I recall:

Is my memory playing tricks on me? Did I fabricate this product in a dream?  :-[

Are you talking about these adapters that let you plug in Famicom and NES games at once?

Now I'm wondering, what does it read when both slots are used at the same time? ??? Is there a toggle switch?

Doesn't look like it. You should probably not turn on the power with both slots occupied at the same time or they might have to compete, which I assume isn't very good for the hardware.

But wow I have totally missed these. Did anyone buy them? Were they as good as they seem?

I wanted to get one but the postage to the US was almost just as much as an adapter. Someone was going to organize a group buy to save on postage, but sadly it never happened.

I see, I've sent Prince Tomato a PM asking some questions regarding the design of the Twin-Pin converter. They seem rather promising, hopefully outperforming other 72->60-pin adapters.
