Thank You!  :bub:

-1 Satoshi_Matrix. I bought him an arcade stick and a supaboy and couple other things to ship to Canada to save him on shipping. He was supposed to pay me back shipping charges after I shipped them and knew what the total would be. Well it came to $42 and he has not paid me back and I shipped his package in November. After multiple contacts he refuses to settle up with me. I would stay away after this experience.

Shipping was pretty slow(took two weeks after payment to ship). Other than that no complaints, the carts were packaged fine and arrived in good shape.

VERY NEGATIVE

Unfortunately it seems he's a non-payer.

Back story: In May 2011 (sic!) he asked me to buy a few games for him. He's a contributing member of the site, so of course I trusted him and bought the games he wanted without asking for an advance payment.
I bought 4 games for different systems for a total of around 5200 Yen. Rounded up and factoring in currency conversion fees the price we agreed on was 69$ + shipping for the lot. (76.50$ shipped)
Please bear in mind that the price doesn't contain profit for me. I was ready to send him the stuff at pure cost.

So far so good. He wrote he'll send the money soon.
Months passed and I heard nothing. I sent a pm, got no reply. Sent another pm, mentioned it on a forum thread and finally got a reply asking me to "please be patient". That was at the end of August.
Another PM in September also says he'll send the money "soon."
Fast forward to November. He says money is tight, but he should have enough at the end of the month.  ::)

Well, since then he didn't react to any of my PMs any more. (I sent one in January or February and one 10 days ago.)
I really wasn't pushy about this and always was calm and friendly about the matter. I think by waiting one year I was way more patient than people usually are.

I understand that in the short term 80$ can be a lot of money, but not over a whole year. When you have somebody buy stuff for you and taking the time to get exactly what you want, then make at least sure you have the money to reimburse them.  ???
Fortunately for me I didn't send him the games yet, so I can still sell them to somebody else... if I can find somebody interested that is.

Bottom line: If you deal with him, ask for advance payment.
At least I won't any more.

edit: Payment was received 1 year and 7 months after the deal was made, and the matter is now resolved.
