Title: Double Dragon 2 (famicom) bug?

In the english version of DD2 I played in 2 player mode on supreme master level and
when i get to the 4th stage at the end (jump to the other side), but the door will not open...

Is that bug because i have pirate game?

I played through a pirated copy of the Japanese version on a Famiclone and I never ran into that problem. ???
