Title: (NES) CastleVania [problem with screen info]

Hi guys,
        I have problem with screen info see YouTube:-

This is normal with castelvania. You are using NTSC version on PAL system.

Yeah, there are some definite issues with mixing PAL and NTSC formats. I've got a handful of PAL carts that are unplayable on my NTSC NES. Didn't CastleVania get a PAL release? You might have better luck with one of those.

It definitely did get a PAL release. Used to play it as a kid.

I know there are some European gamers who really dislike how a lot of vintage PAL games play slower than their original NTSC counterparts. The alternative would be to import an NTSC console, but I guess you'd have to know your TV can deal with NTSC input.

I've thought of getting a PAL NES to play my Euro carts more properly (and actually be able to play cool-looking games like Asterix and Elite), but I don't think my TV can handle PAL inputs. Those regional differences seem to matter less on newer TVs, which sometimes have NTSC and PAL modes now. But I'm on old CRT, so I can play my light-gun games.
