NerdyNebraskan, do you own a game store or something?  I live in Lincoln myself and was wondering if I'd ever met you before!
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Today was the first day in almost a week where I was able to do some console gaming. I went straight to the NES and played through a handful of games I'd been waiting for weeks to test. Started with Home Alone 2 to get it out of the way (yuck), then played about 4 stages into Wizards & Warriors (beat that one once in my tweens/teens; starting to think I'm due to play through it completely again soon), Paperboy (made it to Friday... not my best effort), and Super Mario Bros 3 (warped to World 4 and played through it). Wasn't terribly focused today, as I was also listening to the Husker football game on the radio.

No, I don't own a store. I have been reselling on the side as I build my collection over the last four years or so, so it is possible that we've met through that. Either way, we should definitely meet up sometime soon. It'd be cool to chat and play some games in person. I could probably find some time this weekend, if you're free.

Earlier this afternoon, I had a few goes at Operation Wolf and Ultimate Stuntman. They're the current couple of games I'm trying to beat for the NA challenge. I reached the final boss of Operation Wolf, playing with the controller. The game's hit detection with the Zapper is much poorer, unfortunately. Then I was able to beat the second set of stages for the first time on Stuntman, but the game just keeps getting harder. I really wish the Stuntman had Sonic's ability to look up or down with some of those jumps over instant death pits that the game asks of you.

I have been playing baku Bomberman 64 for the last 30 mins. I hadn't played it in about 14 years, and I enjoyed it very much. I might have to play this from start to finish (something that I rarely ever do)

VS. Castlevania - got to the level 4 boss, I can't imagine how I'm going to get through level 5, this game is HARD.

All my (gaming) attention lately has been focused on Centipede for the 7800. Two player co-op? Yes, please!  :gamer:

Playing Alice Madness.. Cool game.

More Ultimate Stuntman (NES). I'm still trying to beat this for the NA challenge, and it's not coming easy. (I've now beaten three other games for the first time, while also trying to get this game down. I wonder how many more I'll beat before I do get this one.)

I went over to an electronics repair shop on the other side of town, and they have several arcade cabinets set to free play. I played a bit of Vs. Super Mario Bros., Rush N Attack, and Space Invaders. It was a pretty fun way to do my first gaming in almost five days.

Ninja Gaiden (SMS)
Land of Illusion (SMS)
Castle of Illusion (SMS)
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (SMS)

I think these four games are tied for my favorite game on a Sega system.

Edit: Oh, and Deathsmiles (360) Played a lot of that this morning.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...
