Super Mario Bros 3 (Famicom). I'm not very good at it.  : :mario:

Finally got to play the copy of Yume Penguin Monogatari I got from senseiman here. If my penguin doesn't want to gain weight, why does he keep eating the enemies' projectiles? Just take a few in the chin.

Back to Bee 52. I reached the final stage (Stage 24), but wiped out before even getting particularly close to beating it. Maybe I'll finally conquer this the next time I play it, but that won't be today.

Tetris 2 (NES)

I thought I'd see how realistically I could beat this for the NA Challenge. I reached stage 29. Apparently, there are 90 stages in the game, but you can't start any later than stage 30. That'd be one hell of a marathon, especially since I'm not very experienced or good at this game.

Punisher (Famicom), really interesting shooting game!

Paperboy 2 (NES)

I beat Easy Street, and made it until Thursday on Medium Road on my second try. I made it to Hard Way last year for the NA Challenge, but wasn't able to finish it. I'll see if I can do better this year.

Q*Bert (NES)

Only made it to 3-2 on my best effort. I'm not good at this game.

Persona 4 Golden for the PS Vita.

I bought it several months ago at a convention but have not gotten around to playing it until now. Certain 3DS titles may or may not have also contributed to the lack of attention until now  ???
Here are a few games I am looking for right now
Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Sega Saturn)
GeGeGe no Kotarou (Sega Saturn)
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Sega Saturn)
KiKi KaiKai (PC Engine) (CIB)
Puzzle Bobble (Super Famicom) (CIB)

Go Go Ackman 2 (Super Famicom)
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Action 53 (NES)

I got a copy for Christmas. It's not to be confused with the infamous Action 52. Action 53 is a multicart of homebrew games that was published pretty recently. I spent the last hour and a half trying most of the games. My favorites on first try were probably LAN Master and Lawn Mower. Although there were also homebrew versions of Bionic Commando and Missile Command that were pretty solid, too.

Lawn Mower?  Were these homebrew games or unlicensed games?  Could you link us to more info about this game?

I just tried the last of the games off of Action 53.

Yes Dave, these are homebrew games. These are all things that have been programmed and published by one or two guys, and all of these are pretty recent. Many of them were submitted to an NES homebrew competition in 2011.

Here's a link to an advertisement of sorts:

A Google search for "Action 53 NES" will bring up plenty of other links.
