Quote from: Jedi Master Baiter on March 16, 2023, 09:38:18 pmAww! :( The game I wanted the most out of all of these. :-\

Edit: Jayray, I'm trying to send you a PM, but I keep getting an error that reads "Hacking Attempt" ???

Anyway, this is what I sent:

I'll take Zanac, Doki Doki Panic, Green Beret--oh no! You sold Exciting Basketball. :'(

I don't think I really want anything else. :-\

Yeah, sorry man. :(  It's always sad how an open door for one is a closed door for someone else.

On a different note, it'll be nice having Metroid come back to me. I had sold it to JayRay years ago, then later I was made an offer I couldn't refuse on my personal copy (traded it and some others for Mr Splash IIRC), but never could find another copy.

With these acquired, I should only be missing one or two conversion carts, and they're just alternative versions of other games.
actually I won that Metroid in a lot on ebay

Wow. My memory is rubbish.

I sent you a message, but how much would it cost to buy the rest minus Falsion (I know Ghegs wanted that, but if he doesn't I'll take that, too.)?

$800 and I'll throw in these 5 carts. Section Z is the American version thought it was maybe fds port, jackal that loads up once in a blue moon, 2 different versions of 11-1 ball series with fds port smash ping pong on them, and a modern Repro FDS ports of kid Icarus.

Did you buy Doki Doki Panic? If so, which version did you grab?

If it's still available in a month, I'd be interested in grabbing the kaiser Doki Doki Panic.

Oh my God, FDS Jackal! :'(  SOLD! (Is shipping included?) ;D What do you suppose is wrong with it?

Also, I feel we should wait for Ghegs to reply in case he still wants Falsion. I'll go PM him if need be.

According to the first post (which I didn't even realize was being updated) the blue cart sold. I thought you bought it, fcgamer? ???

Oh nah, yeah that wasn't me though that was the cart I was referring to. I have no idea what's different between the two Doki carts code wise, that's why I didn't prioritize grabbing it since funds are tight at the moment.

Ghegs

Such consideration! But yeah, no need to ask for my "permission" or anything. It'd be a fun curiosity to have, but I'm not willing to pay that much for a bootleg cart.

Can totally understand the sentiment, but if it's period, $80 is more than fair for it, even Japanese collectors would pay that.

Oh just throwing out a random fun fact, but period Kid Icarus FDS version starting price is easily $150 usd, and that's locally to me. Big money on that title, for the original version.

One person's trash is another's treasure and all that. To me, bootleg carts aren't usually worth the plastics and circuits they're on. But these ones have the advantage of being interesting due to originally being FDS releases, but even then a lot of them are already available on carts, officially, either on NES or Famicom. I already have Castlevania, Bio Miracle Bokuette Upa, Super Mario USA, and Twinbee 2's official Famicom cart releases CIB (Yie Ar Kung Fo too, I don't think that was ever on FDS?), and I'd rather buy the remaining ones' official NES releases over the FDS originals or bootleg versions, if FC cart versions aren't officially available. The differences between FDS and NES versions aren't that important to me.

That leaves the ones that don't have an official cart release on NES or FC, with Falsion and Nazo no Murasamejou being the ones I'd mostly be interested in. Like I said before, they'd be fun curiosities to have, but not something I'm willing to spend a lot of money on. Maybe $40 each, max. Since that's not the current market value, I'll just not have them.

But it's great that Jedi Master Baiter is getting a good deal on these.

When you put it that way, I'm not sure I'm that interested in these anymore... :-\

NAH! :P  Just kidding! More for me! :D

By the way, I think 'Ye Kung Fu' is supposed to be Fun Shaolin Ken: https://youtu.be/gwFtjXD1HxA At least I hope it is.

By the way, Jayray, what's the issue with Jackal? Why doesn't it work most of the time? A big reason why I want to buy all this is because of that game.

I'm not really sure sometimes it loads sometimes it doesn't.

Jedi Master Baiter

Is it a situation where once it works it plays perfectly fine, or does it have problems mid-playthrough?
