Is this a FDS conversion cart? It appears to be for Kid Icarus. I saw one of these on xianyu a while ago, but the seller was just putting it up to show what the cart looked like (which is a perfectly normal practice for that site). If it is a FDS cart, does anyone here know who made it? It does not resemble whirlwind manu's design

Yes, it is one of the conversion cartridges. Kid Icarus used to be extremely hard to find in this format, but over the past few years a lot were found, though the price was always controlled like diamonds. This price is actually good for this cart, if it's working and everything.

That's cool. Do you know which company made it?

Not sure, it's gonna be one of the major players for this stuff though, i.e. Whirlwind Manu, Kaiser, Stendo, etc.

Hmm. That would imply a monopoly.

This cart is dumped btw

Dumpedness wouldn't play a part into the value of this one, I don't think. It's linked with Metroid, and compared to other games actually seems harder to find.

Yes though, the people who have these know the "rate" that one guy was willing to pay, and that's what they charge, not generally willing to budge.

Roger Rabbit isn't easy to find, btw, but a lot don't realize it's a FDS game.
