Retro Games and Beyond

Hello
I am new here, but not so new to Famicom.
I am a huge collector kinda but still have to learn a lot.

I am not sure about the following and hoping you can copy a full list of each of the two lists.

Which games were DISC only, meaning, those were not released CIB. I understood that there were some games that could only be bought through the disc writer machine in a store. And if someone wanted more to the disc, could mail in to Nintendo. Nintendo would send disc back with stickers, a big printout of the manual. Correct?

I collect all the Disc games, but I want to do it the right way. I want to see if I got the following right. Then I would like to buy them as they should be:

- the CIB versions: disc, sleeve, stickers, manual, plastic box and outer box
- the disc only ones through disc writer machine: disc (came with plastic cover at least???)
- the disc only from the machine plus then getting accessories from Nintendo after mailing in the disc

I would appreciate to clarify my knowledge or so and also help me in the two lists. If there is anything else to it, please feel free to let me know. thanks so much

List of Disk Writer exclusives (excludes those that were also available via retail):

Also, there's no need to ask this in a bunch of different threads, we see you ;D

Hehehe. Thanks a lot for confirming the list.
Did Nintendo offer for these games the print-out manuals and OG stickers when sending in the games?

I can see online there are some offers on such extras. They look OG.

Yes stickers and usually a cheaper fold-out or sometimes possibly a monochrome version of the manual to keep the price lower and probably to promote discarding them if you wanted to apply for overwriting the same disk with another game when you got tired of it to get the new game even cheaper (as you don't have to pay for an empty disk).

And of course, for Disk Writer exclusives the cheaper version of the manual is the only version that exists.

Package versions of games often came with extra stickers too though. I have several games which looks like package games but comes with extra labels inside the manual, even though the disk has labels already. Zelda, Nazo no Murasame-jou and Paluthena no Kagami are all such games and they also has some bonus stickers of Link, Takamaru and Pit respectively.
