Oh ok. Well for the record, mine was about 10 bucks. Dont overpay too much unless you REALLY want it!

Sounds good, eventually I might get one. It will probably be quite some time until then.

Are all the BIC ones official, or are all of the games you getting pirated?  What's Dance Dance Revolution like on the Famicom?!

The BIC are official Camerica/Codemasters games. Dance Dance is pretty much just pushing a direction on the D-pad when the scrolling arrows reach a certain spot on the screen. Fun for a couple of minutes. Some of the songs are cool to hear in 8-bit.

Oh, I thought it used the PowerPad or something...or perhaps even the Tap-Tap mat. :D
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

I expect a mat could be made for it...

Yeah, sorry bout that.   :-X  Its kinda the problem with having friends who say they'll get you stuff...they never seem to get around to it until its too late and you can't yell at them cause they're your friend.  Then again, I should learn to keep my mouth shut unless I can do the transactions directly.

Cool!  I visited a local Famicom collector's house the other day.  Bought Time Diver Avenger CIB, Dragon Spirit, Mother...plus some others that looked fun but can't read the Japanese titles.  One looks like a sort of Dragon Quest style RPG by Namcot where three women follow this pimp-looking guy around...odd

I don't think I've ever seen a mat, but who knows. There's probably one. I've never tried it on the Tap-Tap mat, but I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't work.

Yes, the design is nearly 100% identical aside from coloring.

EDIT:  Looking back now at the character screen, it looks as if that character has a "K" on his chest.  It may very well intentionally be Konami Man.

FamicomFreak

awaa! sounds like good stuff. I would like to see photos of your new pirates.

Man, I don't have time to post at all these days.
Just a little update from me here in the finds section.

I had some sad news coming the last days (parents probably going to split up... I'm very sensitive about stuff like that), but instead of going on a drinking tour like a friend suggested, I drove to some game stores and bought some special packages.

Now I have here 350 Famicom games and 140 Super Famicom games. Some duplicates in there, but for that price I can't complain.
I won't tell the (very low) price or some of you might lose their faith in mankind.  :D :P

JC

Sorry to hear about your parents; but happy to hear about the games. :) 350! I can only imagine all the good ones ya got. I've never gotten a lot that big -- pretty big, just not that big.
