Gah.  Now I had to go play it, too.  I forgot how much stricter the timing is in the first game.

I've just beat an old crummy PC DOS game from my childhood, one I've been trying to complete for the last 15 years.

The game is Lord Avalot d'Argent. A 1995 graphical adventure game made by a guy and his brother. No FAQs or walkthroughs on the Internets, no hints or cheats, nothing. Took me ~15 years but I finally figured it all out.

My life is complete now. I can die in peace. :P

Jedi Master Baiter

Maybe you should write one? ;D

I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Soul Calibur (DC) until the laser crapped out.

Day of Reckoning (GC) - Ahh, memories :)
1080 Avalanche (GC) - Neat Sequel
Wave Race: Blue storm (GC) - again, cool sequel, but why is Rob Haywood, from the 1080 series in the new wave race? :D
Super Monkeyball 2 (GC)

I went to Calgary for the weekend to see my brother in his new appartment (Top floor), all I had was his GC to use.  But we played Day of Reckoning for like 5 hours straight!

Soul Calibur (DC) again. I'm really hooked up with this game, already unlocked everything but I'm still missing a couple of the hardest missions. :D

My Dreamcast kept crapping out (stops reading discs after a while, needs to 'rest' for several hours until it works again). Tried cleaning the lens and adjusting the potentiometer to no avail. Finally discovered that it keeps on working fine if I play it without the top cover and the door interlock defeated (overheating perhaps?). Who knows, as long as I can continuously play as much as I like I'm not complaining. ::) :P
