Dude! (I was off. The chip I was thinking of was 1645).

It figures that they would have tutorials for this sort of thing nowadays. In 2001 (when I did my mod), not too many people were "S-videoing" around with their Genesis. If they were, they didn't have the results on the net yet.

Wow! A lot easier to find this stuff now than "back when I did it." I had to work off of ASCII drawings and discuss the mod via newsgroups (....and walk uphill in the snow both ways...)

Hey all.  Thanks for the great info in this thread as I've been looking for a alternate controller for my Twin Famicom that I picked up in Japan this past May.  So Port A is a standard Famicom ext. port.  So what exactly is Port B used for?  (The one on the right side next to Port A with a little plastic sliding door.)  This might be a dumb question but I haven't been able to find this info anywhere.  Thanks in advance.
