Would 60 to 72 Pin Nintendo Adapters Fit In An NES Cart?

A week or so before x-mas, I got a Micro Machines NES cart, but the game doesn't work. If I got a Famicom to NES pin converter on eBay that was JUST the boards, no case, would it fit inside? The cart is pretty much the same size and shape as a regular NES cart. If not, could I put it in the Super Mario Bros. 3 cart I have, also with a bad game, if I got the screw bit to take that game out?

The converter board will probably fit with no problems, but you will have to cut the shell so you can connect the famicom games on it. Other than that, I see no problem with your idea.

Regards.
