8Bitdo Wireless Receiver Noise + Controller Replacement

So I've recently modded a cable for EXT to NES so I could use the 8Bitdo Wireless Receiver on it, works like a charm except for the signal interference noise I get from it. Is there anyway to dampen the sound? I've tried changing the audio and the power cables however it still persists. Interested if anyone has any experience with this.

I'm also interested in testing another mod for my Famicom, replacing the wired controllers with NES ports as I want to play my copy of Zelda 2 and SMB2, however they aren't compatible with the EXT port on the Fami for obvious reasons. Is this as easy as I imagine it to be?
