We know that Just Breed is not compatible with a Famicom Titler and the Sharp C-1 Famicom TV.  But what about the Japanese RPG fan back in the day?  If you look on the back of the box, you may see something of a warning :

There is a star and a line of text just above the Enix logo.  I believe it says something like "Sharp C-1 will not work with this game cassette", but that is just a rough guess.  Can anyone confirm that and whether there are any other warnings in the box about compatibility with the Sharp C-1 or the Famicom Titler?

Yeah I have the game and I have seen that warning before. It says "can not be used with Sharp C1". I suppose it's because the game uses all colour emphasises at the same time?

I'll dig up my copy tomorrow and look if there are any more warnings.

Yes, it uses all color emphasis bits, so it's nothing but a white screen on the C-1 our the Titler.   Music will still be heard.  Uniquely, it's the only Famicom game that is known to use all the bits.  Any other official Famicom game, Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II, for example, only used them for an occasional effect.  NES games were a little more willing to use the color emphasis bits.

Bubble Bobble on the Famicom Disk System used the red emphasis bit, which turns the background red on the C-1 or the Titler.  Of course, it was released before the Titler and could not be used with the C-1 TV.

I got my copy now and it's identical with the one in the picture. The same warning can also be found on the back of the manual. I saw no other similar warnings about the Titler or anything anywhere. The warning says: ★シャープのC-1ではご使用になりません。 (may not be used with Sharp C-1).

The RAM Adapter doesn't fit the C-1's cart slot? I didn't know that.

I think that the Famicom RAM Adapter was not intended to fit in the Sharp C-1.  Assuming you had vertical clearance on the bottom of the TV, the monitor bezel containing the adjustment switches pushes out just above the cassette slot, probably keeping the FDA RAM Adapter from making a good connection because of the top lip of the RAM Adapter.  Anyone with a real C-1 able to prove me wrong?

Ah I see what you mean: http://famicomworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/sharp_cone2.jpg.
I think someone here bought a C-1 some time ago.

BTW Sharp C-1 is supposed to have a built-in ROM with some software (JR GRAPHIC A/B and TV NOTE) but I've never seen that ROM (although someone said it's dumped). Anyone know what the ROM is known as?
