Youtube Video incase I am not descriptive enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Si_okj6z5ls

Just today, my converter arrived in the mail. At first, I used a game genie to get it in. Afterwards, I used only the game converter and a game to test it. It did not work either time. On both methods, I tried putting in the famicom cartridge backward and forward. I have disabled 10NES, game genie works fine, and NES games work fine.

Also, the converter smells awful. It literally smells like burnt plastic. I had to store the converter in a bag to prevent it from stinking up my room.

EDIT - I have managed to get the adapter to work by moving the cartridge around, but it has to be very precise or else I get garbled graphics. Does anyone know why this happens? And why it is hard to find that spot?

(I disassembled the converter to test out if the cartridge was on the wrong side)

Did you try putting the game in backwards?  Insert the cart with the front label facing the second picture you posted.

I have tried that way. The console acts as if I never put in a game.
