I might be getting a 235 in 1 Multi-Cart for the GBA for $45 shipped...Does anyone here have info on this...Is it a good price to get it

madman

It depends on what games are on it.  A 235 in 1 GBA cart will most likely be a crapload of repeats.  Also a lot of the time, GBA multis contain only GB/GBC games unless it's something like a 4 in 1.

MarioMania

Oops I forgot..it has No Repeats 5 GBA Games on it Pokemon FireRd Leaf Green, Pokemon Silver, Super Mario Adv. 4 SMB3, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Mario Kart, DKL 2 alot of Famicom & NES games like Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Galaga, Dr. Mario

Is it good for the price

The famicom/nes games will look kinda bad on a gba, since the screen has a different aspect ratio.

It depends on what you think.  Is it worth $45 to you to have those games?  If so, then it's a good deal.  I've played a buncha Famicom games on my GBA, the graphics aren't that bad off.

Seems like a pretty bad deal to me. With a proper decent GBA flashcart, you can put all that and more on. Plus these pirates are simply using pocketnes to put NES roms on the GBA, which you could do yourself, putting on whatever you want and actually being able to control the emulator rather than just have it play back. Pocket NES has several features to accomidate the screen size difference from giving a uncropped image to "stretching" the screen to fit to a really cool sprite follow mode so that the main character sprite doesnt get lost off screen ever. Think the Pokemon games: at all times the main character sprite is smack dab in the centre of the screen.

Lol speaking of Pokemon... I remembered that a friend of mine used to put a piece of chewed bubble gum or similar over the center of his Gameboy screen while playing Pokemon so he could explore those dark caves wihtout getting Flash ;D. The piece of gum marked his player's position (always at the center :P)

haha. Flash was annoying yes, but you only ever needed it in the rock tunnel and seafoam islands....man Pokémon Red/Blue were the games I must have played more of than anything else in my entire life. Missingno is still the best pokemon ever as far as I'm concerned!

45$ is pretty steep.
I'd also recommend getting a flash cart. That's still more expensive, but you can download and put any game you want on it, not only 235.

FamicomFreak

yeah the flash cart is a must if you want to play massive amounts of gba games.

I just got it today..There's only a handful of games worth playing on there...I could have the nes/famicom games fit the GBA screen or make it stroll it

I also have a GBA multi cart, but mine is a 146 in 1 cart. It contains seven gameboy advance games, and the rest are all NES games. It also has the Final Fantasy 2 prototype in english! ;D
