critique my AV mod

Hey guys, I would appreciate any help with this.

Firstly, it is the first time ever I have picked up a soldering iron, so its very messy. I tried to follow the steps from http://jpx72web.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/famicom-av-mod-new.html

When I switch it on, I get nothing more than a buzzing noise.

From looking at google, I think the only thing I haven't done is earth the RCA sockets (I am hoping noone mentions these sockets are for audio only, cos I thought they will still work)
the original transistor 2SA937 snapped, so I ordered an identical transistor, I am not sure have I burnt anything or done anything, pics attached thanks in advance

Just a quick update, so I have decided to ground the RCA plugs, connected back to the TV and nothing, I then decided to have it connected to the VCR method, strangely enough I have audio and no picture. the really odd thing is when I disconnected the RCA plugs the audio is still playing.
That's right, when I have NOTHING connected, just the power and switched on, the music is playing, not sure if its due to some interference,

how can this happen? I checked again and all the joints are going the correct way, does this mean I have a faulty PPU? before all this, I used to get an extremely fuzzy picture.

My AV modified console works perfectly, and while I have no clue how it was performed, I could take pictures of the points and such.

Might want to check the transistor. The pinouts might be different than the original one. That was one (of the many) problem I had when I was performing my own AV mod.
