W: Famicom Game Genie CIB

I am looking for a Famicom Realtek(?) Game Genie anyone has one for sale CIB. It has been so long since I posted here so I hope I'm doing this right. Thanks for your time.

Hi, first off, welcome back to Famicom World! 

This particular item is quite hard to come by; I have one, though it is not for sale.  I had located one a few years back in South America, and then asked a friend of mine from Peru to help be obtain it.  It was one of those transactions that took about a year from start to finish, to actually have the Game Genie in hand.

I would recommend you try to look some places such as Mercado Libre for the unit, I've seen more of these show up in South America than in other regions.

I'll have to check that out. Also, does the Famicom Game Genie support expansion sound? I can't  find any information.

I have no idea about the technical capabilities of the Famicom Game Genie, and since the item is so hard to find, I'm not sure a lot of people here would have those answers either.  It's an interesting topic though, and would be neat to see if the device is the same as the NES one, or if it actually is different.

On another note, there were some Famiclones that had a Game Genie built into them.  I've seen one or two for sale online (never personally), but maybe it is another option that might be worth looking into?
