I have known about this for a while now, and I think it would be nice to tell the members of this forum.
Let's get straight to the point.
Hold down Start+Select on boot to access this menu.
What it should say is:
PRAM CRAM OK
If you see something else, then there is something wrong with your RAM Adapter.
Also, there is something below it:
PORT 0111110
That has a purpose that is unknown to me. (Maybe it's for the expansion port on the RAM Adapter?)
I hope this helps you with your troubleshooting.
Update: Pressing Right+A before the text appears will give you some credits.
Plus, this can tell you what ROM version in your RAM Adapter (More text in the credits: later rom.)
Cheers,

boye
Can't find the FDSLoadr PC program? Get it here. It took me way too long to find.

Yes this is a useful trick.

There is an easter egg thread (this) that have this trick among other more or less known tricks and easter eggs in games. It's in the lists sticky.

And yeah PORT probably shows the state of the RAM Adapter's expansion I/O port.

I already knew about that, but I forgot how to access it. I will be sure to add it in.
