Twin Famicom disk drive won't power up

I have a red Twin Famicom that a bought a while ago knowing that the disk drive didn't work due to the belt perishing but the rest of the system worked fine. When I opened it up I noticed that the disk drive wasn't connected as well as the belt issue. I have replaced the belt and recapped the console but the drive doesn't seem to power up when a disk is inserted (stays on 'Insert Disk'). Switching the disk drive into a separate FDS system it works fine and the disk drive in the FDS also gets no power when in the Twin.

It is possible I messed up the capacitors but I have no idea if the drive was getting power/trying to boot before the capacitors were replaced (it has been a while now).

Is there a common culprit somewhere in the console that causes this or does anyone have some guidance on where to start?
