Disk error but only with 2 disks out of 12 disks

I have a dozen disks at the time and 2 of them gives me errors.  One reports error 27 part way through loading A side and other one gives error 23 almost right away.

Famicom Twin model 500b has new belt and was adjusted by Japanese seller before I got it a few months ago.  All other disks are working fine so far.  So I was wondering if the 2 disks with error may need to be refromatted or re-written? Or do my disk drive need a tiny bit of adjustment?  If the disk needs to be reformatted or re-written, who could I send it to? In USA?  I do not have FDSStick as it's out of stock, and I am not sure if FDSStick can be used to connect to Famicom Twin's disk drive.

Rewriting disks tends to make the disk only work with the disk drive it was written on.

FDSStick works on Twin with the right cable. Not sure if it's sold anywhere though. Alternatively you can pickup a loose RAM Adapter just to use with the FDSStick (if Loopy ever makes more of them...), it should work on any Famicom including a Twin.

There are a few options for ya.  I messaged Loopy a few days ago on the NESDev forums, and he said a new batch of FDSSticks should be in approximately 1-2 weeks or there about.  You could alternatively message tombo72 or Cooper here to have your disks mailed to them and re-written.

As P was saying, there is an adapter that you can connect to your Twin, but it requires a spare cable that either has to be custom made or sourced from a RAM Adapter.  Alternatively, you can get a separate RAM Adapter and use it in your Twin's cart slot along with the FDSStick, should you get one.

Good to hear that Loopy is producing them again, and that he answered you despite Nesdev forum currently being broken.

Yeah!  I can't wait til they are back so I can buy a few more myself.  The FDSStick is complete on receiving any more updates. Loopy is working on a new project too -- a RAM Adapter repro cart.  No ETA on completion of it, however.

NESDev is back up, btw.

RAM Adapter repro would be cool. I wonder how he plans to do it though, FPGA? I know the RP2C33 chip has been decapped so its secrets are out in the open ...technically (there is still manual labor to make sense of the mess).

Nesdev was never down, but some database or something is broken, several posts by moderators turned invisible and spambots went rampage. No use posting there until they can fix it as you never know where your post goes. Problem is that the person with the power to do anything seems to be kind of hard to get contact with. I hope they sort things out.
