Famicom Disk System error 2

No idea why it wouldn't work.

So, are you saying that the FDS is now working correctly? If so, great!

Other than it not working when powered by an actual Famicom ac adapter it is. But the 3-1 multi-system adapter I picked up at the local retro game shop seems to be working fine.

There is a 0.1mm difference in the size of the plug between a fami and FDS PSU, but this has never been a problem for me before.

Anyhow, glad it's working alright now, so what disk games do you have?

Just Super Mario Bros. 2. I'm hoping to scoop some more up from 80'sFreak and Manuel next payday though.

i bet it wasn't the batteries.

Normal, disk reading noise. Same noise it made when it was running on ac power and working fine.

I'd try the batteries again.

Alright. I'll get 6 new batteries and try again. Let me know how your test goes.
