That's only the second transparent pirate I've seen. The other is The Goonies in red. They're cool, but definitely pirated. There's a Labyrinth proto that's white with a white label. And there's a Salamander proto that's a blue transparent cart, slightly different from the retail release.

I love transparent carts.

How many legit transparent carts are there?  A full set would be pretty cool to have in a collection.

Dunno how many transparent carts there are. This one didn't even have keeper tabs in it. I had to apply a little glue to the edges to put it back together (was glued when I got it as well). Recca would totally look cool in a clear casing... too bad they seem to be few and rather far between... I momentarily thought of sacrificing this cart to put the Recca board in it. I did decide against that though.

Does anyone know how many carts were made with clear shells, bootleg or non? I imagine that it couldn't be too hard to make them, if you knew someone in the right field of manufacture.

Yes it is definitely official plus I identified it as Stack-up for ROB and it is called Robot Block on the famicom.

I didn't find this game in the list of this site.... what is the official name of the game ?

nintendodork

It's either Robot Block or Robot Gyro, I think that one is Robot Gyro.

We have it listed as Stack-Up, although it should be Robot Block:
