NESRGB V4 - Vertical stripes and graphical artifacts Famicom original

Hello everyone, I encountered an unpleasant situation after installing NESRGB from Tim Worthington

Usually the problem is in vertical stripes on the screen and in games where there is an information panel of health/points/words in games such as TMNT 2, Kirby, Ys 1/2, etc. graphic artifacts associated with the information panel appear, however, if you press pause in some games everything falls into place, but during the game these artifacts still occur.

The picture is connected via RGB-SCART, if you look closely, it feels like the picture on the TV is stretched too much towards the bottom of the screen

In games where there is no information panel !bottom! everything works fine

I use Everdrive N8 to launch games :redcart:

Added: I did some tests, some games work fine under another region, but not everything is so simple, the same Kirby works fine if you run a pirated version, but all the others work even worse than what I downloaded initially.

Looks like the NMI isn't getting recognized or something? Check the connection between pin 19 of the PPU and pin 33 on the CPU.

It doesn't ring through a multimeter, resistance is 19,9kOm
The leg from the RGBNES to the motherboard is ringing normally

If you look at the schematic:

Pin 33 of the CPU and Pin 19 of the PPU are supposed to be directly connected together.
Make sure you're probing the right pins. If you're sure there's no connection between them, there must be some sort of break on the Famicom's motherboard. Either find it, or add a bodge wire.

Uh, I don't think so.

If the NMI is getting through then I guess the problem at hand is that CHR banks aren't getting properly switched.

Not entirely sure how that works internally, though, especially with a flashcart.

With most mappers it's just about writing certain values to certain ROM addresses. The Everdrive shouldn't be any different just that it's done in the FPGA.

It looks like certain types of raster effects are not working properly.
It could be a problem with the RGB-mod, the Everdrive or even the Famicom itself.
It's not the TV nor the cable or anything else analog.
