I just tried to play this game recently, but whenever I hold Z and speak into the microphone, it doesn't make the little bubble showing that the game is responding.  It's not doing anything! >:(  Anyone else have this problem?  I looked on Google, and I couldn't find anything on it.

Do you get any sort of message in the game telling you something is wrong? Or maybe you don't have the microphone plugged up correctly? The N64 plug part should be in the fourth controller port.
Would you please sign my petition? Hopefully, it will get Another Code R released in America. The link is here: http://www.gopetition.com/online/28991.html

Nope, everything starts up fine.  I have the VRU plugged into the 4th port.

I wonder what would've changed inside.  I got it as a present many years ago, but I played it like 2 months ago, and it worked fine.

Frayed cord from flexing it too sharply is the most probable cause.

Did you get the game imported to Europe?

nintendodork

You mean from?  No.  My parents got it from Toys R Us a long time ago.
