Castle Excellent!!! Haha jk..

Yume Penguin Monogatari by Konami. Although it is short, it's very colorful and unique. You play as a penguin who needs to lose weight so he can get his girlfriend back. Food items are your enemies (as well as bad guys) and you need to get to the end of the stage skinnier than you started. The more weight you lose, the more powerful you get. It's a very unique concept!

Protoman

Paaman, Kero Kero Keroppi 2, Bananan no Ouji Daibouken, Wagyan Land, Masked Ninja Hanamaru...

What do these games have in common? They are good platform games, but the boss battles are played in quiz or board game mode which pretty
much ruin the games for people who don't speak japanese...

For an awesome game... if you have a strategy guide of some sort, Konami Wai Wai World

The mini-games in Keroppi 2 are extremely simple and straightforward, I wouldn't even say there's a language barrier on that one. Same with Hanamaru, which is even simpler if you've already played Yo! Noid since it works the same way.

Bananan Ouji only has a couple mandatory quizzes, and... yeah, they're pretty rough. However I did manage to make it through the game by reading an answers list online. Similar to Kid Dracula's quiz, the answers will be in the same order every time, however in the case of Banana Prince, it's random which question it starts on... if that makes sense.
