Not sure how old this is, but I just found a link to a scan & translation of an old Japanese picture book about how Famicom games are made.  Some pretty cool photos of 80s Miyamoto and some sweet behind-the-scenes photos showing production hardware.

I like that automatic labeler. I wonder if nes/snes carts could be automatically labeled since the labels turn the corner.

If there are robots that can build cars on an assembly line, I bet there's one that can bend a sticker.

I spy with my little eye... a poster for MOTHER. Great article, by the way. I'd love to own a physical copy of that book...
Would you please sign my petition? Hopefully, it will get Another Code R released in America. The link is here: http://www.gopetition.com/online/28991.html

That's cool. There's something different about that Famicom controller in Miyamoto's office. I remember Japan-Games finding a weird Famicom one time and he wondered if it was for development or something. I don't know if he posted it here or on Assembler.

The controller sort of looks like the one in Chibi Robo Park Patrol.
Sorry folks.

There's something different about that controller, but it's not what Japan-Games had. The Famicom itself, not the controllers, had this:

QuoteThe bottom blue label reads, "Bandai Osaka Office" and the top blue label reads, "Promotion F-002-1."
