Profeta Yoshitake

One day I lost 20+ NES games.
The pack simply disappeared somewhere between USA and Brazil.
Lots of good stuff LOST.
Damn!  :'(
Now Playing: Dragon Ball Fusions, Yggdra Union

Sadly, the post office fails all of us.  I'm not sure what else you can do when sending an IMPO, but for packages I always go with UPS.

Doc

This always happens. Usually they pull through, but I've lost a lot of money from lost mail. :(

JC

Oooo. That's bad news -- paying by mail. I hate having to do that. I much prefer electronic transactions because there's always a record and it touches no itchy fingers. BTW: This was for a Famicom? CIB or just the Fami?

JC

Well, if it doesn't work out or whatever and you need a Famicom, I've got an extra one I'll likely be getting rid of soon.

madman

Cmon post office, work faster, I've got a box of Fami goodies that should be here by now!

JC

I know how it is. :) I hate waiting...but often I do SAL to save money, instead of the faster options. I've got some of my own goodies coming from Japan. Can't wait...but it's slow.

madman

I always get airmail from HK, it typically takes 6 or 7 days.  EMS from HK is quicker, but when I'm getting large boxes of stuff it's nowhere near as economical to get my stuff 2-3 days sooner.  Going to check my mail box later and see if any goodies arrived :)

How fast is airmail from Japan to the states compared to EMS?

JC

From my experience, it's about the same as what you're saying it's like from HK. But SAL...now that's a different story.

madman

Woohoo, I just opened a box of goodies!!  Check the "finds" thread over in buy/sell in about 15 minutes.  Christmas came early this year  ;)

I've always found that stuff from HK takes 1 to 2 weeks longer...  Just my experience...

And my experience as well. :)

Mailpost always fail, don't try to send money in that way, use a credit cart or a bank card. Here in Argentina post-mail is not expensive, and that's why you can lost your games or money. Once I lost more than 15 Famicom games. I try to sue them, but they say me they have the "permission" to lose things and stuff. :/
Sorry my bad english.
