Good luck mate. That model is worth around $50-70 in clean condition.. Old radios aren't junk anymore: a friend of mine paid over $400 for one specific 70s portable transistor model that he wanted (for use). Old TVs are worth bucks too. I just laid down a big chunk of change for a red-cased 14" Japanese TV from the mid-80s on YAJ. A lot of this stuff got broken, abused or thrown away and there isn't as much to be had anymore in good working order that's also clean.

If you want something cheap,  I suggest that you go for a 90s clock-radio. Those can be had for next to naught, but I don't know what you're trying to do with it. You can always try eBay, the world's largest yard sale and see if there are any inexpensive models close to what you want or need.
