I got one of these converters for like $4, and it has been amazing, but I am not sure if it is the best adapter out there.

What does everyone think about adapters, what kind  is the best?

(A stock image, this one resembles mine, except mines gold with silver framing)

(Mine, as you can clearly see is different looking)

I bought one from a Play N Trade when visiting New York city for 6 bucks. There was a silver one and a gold version, and naturally, I bought a gold one. I later sold it since I have a Famciom and would have no further use for a converter.

linkzpikachu

ive heard they are the best converters on the market...do you know if hudsonsoft has anything to do with 'em?

I wondered that same thing as the logo is nearly the same, maybe they just ripped Hudson off.

shoggoth80

I'm betting the manufacturer just ripped the Hudson logo...pirates tend to do that.

that's mine!

in my experience, the honey bee is the same as every other converter, they just don't have as cheap of casing as most do.

I wonder how many of them were made by the same company? or it it was just a case of pirates copying pirates.

Hmm... It's possible, that some are pirates; I guess...

I need to get one of those. My converter is too shallow. About 20% of my collection isn't compatible with my converter because the boards are too short and won't reach the contacts.

I own an AV Famicom, so your answer doesn't complete my thread. When a friend comes over and also wants to play a FC game, I pop the converter into my NES-101 Toploader.

( I have 3 TV's in my room, a small 12 inch for my C64DTV as it looks best on a small screen and two regular 32 inch for multiple people to play games.)

disregard my last post...i myself want a honeybee just for the hell of it
