Tower of Druaga

I have been trying to beat Tower of Druaga,  but failed after many attempts.  I am writing down notes, and might publish them to the web.  If someone could give some suggestions, I'll credit you in the tip guide!

Rogles and I tried to pull a T.o.D All-Nighter, but the cart gliched out.

I hope it glitched out right before finishing the last level?
...  ...  .... Of course I hope that was NOT the case.

What he means is, the graphics got all glitchy, he went to bed, and I blew in the cart and played for around an hour. I got to floor 21! :O

The Tower of Druaga on Famicom has really stiff and unresponsive controls. What other systems did it get ported to? Maybe I'll look up to see if the arcade version is any better.

Have it but haven't played it yet.

Just the other day I picked up something on Super Famicom that appears to be a sequel, or at least features the characters.

I think most players who pass on this game don't realize that a) the point is to look for the treasure chest on each floor and b) the chest on the second floor contains boots that make you walk a lot faster.  If you never get those boots then the game is unbearable.
