Top 25 GameBoy & GameBoy Color games

After the successful Top 25 Powerpak Killer Apps list I wrote a while back, I've received many requests to do another such list, and this one is dear to my heart.

Here's my top 25 GameBoy & GameBoy Color games list with my reasons for each. See if your favorite makes the list! Hope you enjoy guys and gals!

It's a nice list overall but would have loved for you to pick just one game of each series like one mega man or one mario or even one pokemon as it feels repetitive. There could have been other gems to mention with that extra room. I do like your Survival Kids pick though, that game kicks ass!

I thought about doing that, but there's simply no way I could have done that. Take the Mario Land games. All three of them are excellent, and for different reasons. To condense them down would be unfair to the individual games. Even so I still ended up doing that for the Oracle games, the generational Pokemon games and Megaman Xtreme 1-2.

Ninja Gaiden Shadow is another great classic Gameboy game.  It's a port of Kage/Blue Shadow/Shadow of the Ninja.  Great music and solid gameplay.

Of course this is always a subjective thing and up to personal preference. If you can't stand Pokemon for instance then at least three entries go out the window. Just out of curiosity, what are your top 10 you mentioned?
