I was wondering f there is somewhere that you can buy new 60-pin connectors for the famicom.  Mine has had some bent pins since I got it and now from bending one back into place it is sticking out of the plastic.  It still works but scares it that it may start scratching games as I insert them.

FYI same exact thing happened to me with my Famicom word for word.  I replaced my pin connector with the one from Tototek and it works like a charm.  2 things though;

1)Be careful desoldering the old connector and if you end up stripping out the metal from one of the pin holes then you can just connect a wire to the trace it's going to.

2)Be aware that once the edge connector is soldered in it won't have any support underneath when you insert a game all put back together.  You'll basically be bending the Famicom pcb if you try to force a game in.  What I suggest and what I did was to stack popsicle sticks on the bottom part of the case where the edge connector will sit and hot glue them there.  Then break a stick in half and hot glue it underneath the motherboard in the spot between the row of pins.  So far it's been the perfect solution and since the sticks are a soft wood pressing down on a game doesn't hurt the pins if they dig into the sticks.

You will love a new pin connector in there.  The connection feels good and the games boot first try always, even if dirty.
