So i popped the super bee into the FC, have a step down handy, plugged in the psu, and this little red light shone its shiny brightness!!
now all is left is to get it set up on a tv! (still waiting on an RF switch) the missus won't let me mod it, she wants to keep its integrity, but she is as keen as i am to get this baby going!!

The Super Slot was it? Looks cool but doesn't seem to do much besides protecting your cartridge slot pins and eject lever from wear and adding a LED. Any other purpose?

The LED seems very nice to have. I have to use a cartridge with a LED, like Sqoon or the Everdrive to check if the power is on in some cases.

Is that an NES/famicom adapter in one, so that you don't have to take the adapter in/out when playing famicom and NES games? it sure seems so...

It does seem like there is another pin connector behind the main one, under the red flap. Is that the case? I'd love to have one of those.

I live in Japan and I don't think I've ever encountered one of those.  So seeing something new made MY day too.
