Rockman 4 Minus Infinity Problems

So I tried to make a Repro of it on a ETROM-01 Board and connected the chips as follows.

PRG:
Pin 1,2,24,30,31 bend up.
Pin 1 connected to hole 30 (A19)
Pin 2 connected to hole 24 (A16)
Pin 24 connected to hole 31 (OE)
Pin 30 connected to hole 1 (A17)
Pin 31 connected to hole 2 (A18)

Booted the game withot CHR-RAM. Worked just fine, scrambled graphics.

Now I soldered in the CHR by doing this:
Pin 1,22,26,27,28 bend up and seat back 3 positions so pin 1 is at hole 3
Pin 1 not connected
Pin 22 connected to hole 31 (OE)
Pin 26 and 28 connected to hole 32 (VCC)
Pin 27 connected to Famicom connector #47

Now I still get weird graphic glitches. Mainly with empty tiles, see screenshots.

P.S. The SRAM I'm using is a WingShing 6264LLPG-70

What am I doing wrong?
It's also the newest version of the game.

Your wiring instructions appear correct.

The only culprit is the SRAM. Unfortunately, the Famicom is very picky with SRAM. Often the only safe option is to pull SRAM from another game. If you have a UNROM game to spare, you could socket the CHR RAM socket and use that to test SRAM chips before you solder one.

This is weird. What SRAM would you recommend? Because I have never had problems with this one before. Worked on Final Fantasy III and Wily / Light no Rockboard on TNROM conversion.

I remember trying RM4MI before but using a SONY CXK5864BP-10L before with the same problem.

Hmm. Well, you could try connecting SRAM pin 1 to hole 3, rather than leave it lifted.

I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

Try this instead

pin 20 (/CE1) -> hole 31
pin 22 (/OE) -> hole 2

@muckyfingers: I will give it a shot eventhough it is not for MMC5 pinout, I think.

You tested the original game before converting to Rockman 4: Minus Infinity, yes?

Really, the only culprit here is the SRAM. Find another good one (test on a socket board or something) and then solder it onto your Rockman 4: MI board.

Yea, I clean all games before testing them and I had never have a faulty game yet. I'm going to test other SRAMs. Any recommendations?

Just about any sports game from the Super Famicom/SNES

Yeah, said and done.
Replaced the SRAM with a  MOSEL 6264 and the glitches are gone.
