Well...sorry but..I don't wanna pay thousands of dollars for games that I can play for free... ;)

Even though I already own them of course..because otherwise it would be illegal *looks back and forth*

I must have forgot how to do this over the weekend. ???

:P  I'm sure with all the smileys you realized my post was a joke for the most part (and use of the term "premature emulation" :P).  I used to download ROMs myself, though for at least NES stuff, I prefer buying the games for my collection before playing them.

nintendodork

Yeah, NES stuff is easier to buy, but I usually get ROMs of Famicom games; to at least try before I buy, you know?

And yes, I realized you were kidding :P

At one point, I had heard about a ROM floating around that was VS. Super Mario Bros in the NES ROM format.  Could this be possible?  I know that some NES emulators have an option to "insert a coin", so I figured it might be possible.  If such a thing exists, I'd really like to put it on a PowerPak.

Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah i have the ROM, but i haven't played it. Ill see if it works

I've put VS games on a powerpak before, & (although some may work) the palette is all wrong, plus, you can't play them because there's no "insert coin" button unless you do this:

That page is actually where the idea came back into my head. :D  It makes me wonder what Popibros has.

I'd like to restart this thread with a question.
How can I move .rom files from my macbook to my PSP?

Is the closest thing I've discovered to what I imagine is necessary.

You can use a regular cable in USB mode, no?

I don't know, hence the question?  I'll try that

L___E___T

Ah ok - just attach the correct USB cable, and go the menu to 'USB mode' and it should pop up on your PC screen.  Mine used to detect the card, but now doesn't, weird.

Or as most know it, UhSuhBuh. Haha joking.

Doesn't the PSP auto detect when you connect a USB?

PSP is capable of WIFI connection. Can't you just download the rom straight to your device?
