I'd like to get a bunch of cases to keep my cartridges dustfree while stored on bookshef.
I'm not looking for something fancy like Gimmick or Namco box, but something more like Super Mario Bros. case that looks a bit like vintage audio cassette case.

Is there a source or manufacturer who is still selling these?

Famicom3DS

I doubt you'd want to use these, but standard Sega Genesis/MegaDrive cases work great for the normal Famicom carts such as Super Mario Bros.

Is this a straight-fit or do they need to be cut first?

Famicom3DS

I didn't have to cut it, it fits nearly flawlessly (even better than Universal Game Cases), it only wiggles a little and even then it's pretty tight so it won't be jiggling around.

I looked it up on ebay and aliexpress. The prices are starting from $5 each.

M-Tee

Piko Intereactive sells newly manufactured Genesis cases for $22 a 10-pack.

I too need them, transparent cassette cases. I have one but I wish they made more. :)

Guys, look here: http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/

I usually buy there transparent cases for everything (Famicom, MD/Genesis, SNES, etc.)  ;)

Close, but not cigar.
They are selling foldable-flippable-breakable (soft in my opinion) protectors. They are good for storage, but I'm a gamer not a museum.

I'm currently looking for this kind of protector:

iStreet

This shop is offering 15 original Famicom cases :)
I always downshift near a hybrid, so they can hear me hurt the environment...
