Famicom Arkanoid controller

Question: Arkanoid controller (MODEL 1)

Should clean the plastic parts. Has anyone opened this Arkanoid controller? I have not found pictures on the internet where it would be open.

Is it easy to put back shut/closed?

I've seen pics of it online where they opened it. Can't imagine it would be particularly hard to open or put back together again.

I just bumped a thread with internal pics. These frequently develop a problem where the range is limited and they can't move all the way to the right. Three of the four screw posts on mine were already ruined when I got it (turn forever; never tighten), so someone has been inside. I also see where it looks like two resistors were added but I don't really know because the pics in the other thread do not show that side. I'd be interested to know if yours has these resistors.
