A bit expensive for MMC1 game  ::)
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

Well that was extremely sad seeing the comment the buyer made.  :'(
My cap was 700k yen. I would sell it at the same price, once I was done dumping it.
In this world, money is king.
Someone should try reach out to the original develop to try and find out if there's any more prototypes or similar and ask if they are interested in either actually releasing it or better dumping it.

Been reading the japanese blog comments, and they're all pretty much going:
"I think it is the correct solution to be buried in the dark because it is a game that should not exist"

Or until it succumbs to bitrot.

Wanting to keep it within the country is understandable, but keeping it from preservation is just evil. >:(

"I think it is correct to leave archaeological treasures in the ground because they should not be discovered"

Totally backwards and unscientific. The game will always exist buddy, just on someone's shelf instead of with the people.

Then if it outlives the hoarder, maybe it still has a chance to see the light of day again.

Quote"I think it is the correct solution to be buried in the dark because it is a game that should not exist"

Yeah right, like they had some dark secrets they don't want to be seen by the world. The developers would have burned it long ago in that case. Fate might as well have meant it to be but the developers just failed to complete it (like probably most other games that are developed).

I read the full comment of the buyer and he said something to this effect:
QuoteThis title is a large page of Famicom history, and I wanted by all means to stop it from falling into the hands of those people that copies and sells games that are non-commercial like this. So for that reason I want all you who truly loves games to be at ease. I will protect this as a treasure of Japan at all cost. This I promise. I can't help it if it's leaked from the seller though.

Like we could trust some random crazy dude. Protecting it from scammers? How? Just storing it forever? What does it matter that it's non-commercial? Nothing makes any sense whatsoever.

So yeah, it WAS swooped by a mysterious "historian" (although a bad one that wants to delete history).

I think you guys are overthinking this.  I think it's just a collector that wants to keep it for themselves only.

They are saying that to get a reaction that will make them feel warm and fuzzy when read, it's seems silly to be genuine, I think they're just trolling you and the native collectors.

It doesn't look at all special to me, but I'm sure it'll end up in the wild eventually with an English translation probably too a few years later.

It's the software that has historical value, not the hardware. The more the reason to salvage the software.

That's what I'm saying. Protecting it from repro sellers is just an excuse.
