What's your worst deal fail?(I'm not sure how you would write this though) For example, one could have paid $180 for a Twin Famicom at a flea market which the owner claimed that it worked well, but when you got home to clean it up, you find out that the motherboard is completely trashed, and there is no way to return it to the seller. Or, you could have found a Texas Instruments TI 99/8 prototype for sale for $100 dollars, and somebody forced you to not buy it.
My two experiences are: 1. A TRS-80 Model 100 bundle that came with a bunch of goodies that was supposed to work for $50, but it turns out it is un-fix-able
2. A Hyundai Super Comboy(Korean Super Nintendo) 1 player bundle with 2 Korean label games for $90 and when I was begging the guy to let me have the orginal adapter too(for the same price) and the man told me to screw off and I had to leave(even though the store had a bunch of other goodies too...
Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda. The NES and the Famicom themselves. These are well known after more than 30 years after their releases. I highly doubt that Fortnite, PUBG, or any other modern-day game will be as well known in 2050.

Probably when I saw a TMNT Tournament Fighters for about $10 on Amazon back in 2005 or '06 when eBay was more popular, and since I already owned Tournament Fighters, I posted this to NESWorld, telling people to grab this deal.

First response: something along the lines of "I don't really like Amazon because they don't have pictures."
Second Person: "I went ahead and grabbed it."
Second Person Responds again: "Man! You're going to be so jealous! It came with the box and instructions!"
Me: "Nah, I don't mind. I'm just glad to help out the community."

It turns out this guy was burnambill, one of the biggest shysters at NESWorld. He conned people so badly, the police got involved. I looked up his name right now and it seems he's banned at NintendoAge? ???

Edit: NESWorld, not Dev :-X
