First Press Games, out of Germany, will be publishing Project Blue, our recent NES release, for the Famicom.

I dig what they're doing with the shells and labels:

Also, the selling price (starting at 54€) is on-par with NES homebrew publishing, much less than the recent Japanese-published Famicom releases (as awesome as they may be).

For those unfamiliar with Project Blue, toggle_switch and FrankenGraphics debuted it in the 2017 NesDev Coding Competition, where it won second place. Afterward, they worked to flesh it out into a full game and I joined them, handling writing and illustration duties. We had a successful campaign last year to get it out on the NES. It has since been released digitally, and NES carts are in production.

First Press Games is localizing it for the Japanese market, and I'm working on a short prelude comic to accompany it.
