Now there is no need to be rude to other members for friendly reminding you of the local rules or conventions of the forum or mentioning their opinions, even if the thread has to be briefly derailed as a result. Whether this is a rule or a general guideline may be a bit vague, but I don't really think that matters much as already three frequently visiting members pointed it out as annoying, and it's misuse of the quote function.

BTW I have no Twin Famicom to sell.

Glad to see you recognise that those derailing the thread, contravened the rules. As you correctly identified, imprecise guidelines are not rules, unlike those rules directly broken by the other posters.

I'll update either this or another thread with the outcome, as I'm sure it will help others in my position.
