Cleaning Disks

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a Twin Famicom as was curious about the FDS side of gaming.
I have Disk problems with Error 22 and I've found the only way to play these games (only got 2 games at the moment), is to clean them. This does give successful results where I get to the game title screen and get the chance to play the game but soon I'm back at Error 22 where games progress onto further levels.

I was wondering if its worth getting the HVC-027 disk cleaner unit?
Or is it these games are just worn out and that is what I am to expect with Disk games

See if you can't get the disks to read consistently by slightly recalibrating your drive.

You could also look into rewriting the disks with your specific drive.

The disk cleaner units are really expensive for what they offer and often need replacement parts.
